I had a great experience staying in this comfortable hotel by the beach. The location was perfect, nestled in an isolated garden with easy access to the beach right across the side road. the tram stop was nearby for exploring further afield. My room was cozy with all the necessary amenities, and the breakfast spread was really nice. It was a pleasure to wake up to the peaceful view.
The hotel seemed to have a limited parking area, so it might be difficult to find a spot to park during busy seasons.

The location was fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the beach and with the convenience of parking available on-site. The breakfast spread was impressive, with an abundance of options including fresh fruits, cheeses, and hams. The quirky decor of the hotel added to the overall experience.
The price seemed a bit too high for what was offered, especially considering that some basic amenities like tea/coffee facilities were not provided in the room. the room we stayed in lacked air conditioning which made it uncomfortably warm during our summer stay.

Nothing it was perfect.

The hotel is located in a prime spot, just a stone's throw away from the beach, making it convenient for guests to enjoy the beautiful seaside. the hotel is close to the tram line, providing easy access to explore the surrounding areas. The hotel rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and charming balconies, allowing guests to relax and soak in the atmosphere. the breakfast served is outstanding, featuring a wide variety of delicious options, including fresh fruit, cheese, and ham.
Some areas of the hotel could use improvement, as mentioned in one review, with stained carpets and outdated bathrooms.

We had a fantastic Easter holiday stay at Hotel Iris, and even received chocolate bags on Sunday. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially considering we were traveling with a newborn. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a wide selection of fresh and homemade items. The jelly was particularly delicious. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.
Nothing - all good! 😊

The hotel had free Wi-Fi which was perfect for scrolling through TikTok. We also discovered that Hotel Iris is located near the Moëres, which is like a cycling paradise. We rented bikes and had a blast exploring the Flemish and French polders. And guess what? The hotel had a games room with table tennis! We had epic ping pong battles every night. Such a fun vacation with friends!
The only thing we wished for was a better nightlife scene for young party-goers. We wanted to dance the night away and meet new people, but the area was a bit quiet.
